Welcome to Venerini Summer Camp

Embark on a summer of exploration, learning, and fun at Venerini Academy!

Our summer camp offers a variety of programs tailored to different age groups, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all campers. Join us for 5-day, 4-day or 3-day camps!

Summer Fun at Venerini

Enjoy a full day of fun, learning, and adventure from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. (unless otherwise noted*)


Sessions are available for:

  • Five days: $375
  • Four days: $300
  • Three days: $225


Extended Day Options:

For families needing flexibility, we offer extended care:

  • Morning: 8:00 - 9:00 AM
  • Afternoon: 3:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Extended care is available at $10 per hour.


General Information:

  • Location: All sessions are held at Venerini Academy.
  • Lunch and Snacks: Students should bring a lunch, snack, and a water bottle.
  • Sun Protection: Please apply sunscreen as students may be outside for part of the day.

  • Payments can be made through FACTS or by check payable to Venerini Academy.

Choose Your Summer Fun Sessions

Preschool Summer Fun Camp

Age Group: Students Ages 3 and 4 (Potty trained*)

Activities: Summer fun specially designed for preschoolers. Under the umbrella of a weekly theme, students will engage in outdoor play, water fun, STEM projects, art projects, music and movement, gardening, a daily story time and a brief afternoon rest period. Sessions staffed by Venerini staff. Two classes with a limit of 10 each.


Cost: Week 1: $300   Week 2: $375

Basketball Skills Camp | Co-Ed

Age Group: Students entering Grade 3-5

Activities: Run by Athletic Director Mary Sivo, students will learn the fundamentals of basketball including ball handling, dribbling, shooting, and passing. Daily scrimmages will allow for implementation of the newly learned skills. Limited to 20 students

Introduction to Coding

Age Group: Students entering Grades 2-4

Activities: Through the use of Block-Coding, participants will learn the basics of coding and creating. With the use of small markers participants will design, build, and animate their own projects including games, adventures and storyboards. Through the coding platform of CS First, participants will expand their level of understanding every step of the way. Fly through the air like a superhero, sail the seven seas in a ship, the adventure is yours to create. Session run by Venerini Technology Director Joe Sposato. Limited to 12 students.

Puppet Making Workshop

Age Group: Students entering  Grades 1-3

Activities: A five-day puppet building workshop will introduce participants to a variety of puppet types. From simple sock puppets to more sophisticated marionettes, the students will create their own puppets and write/adapt short vignettes. Participants will become puppeteers using their creations to act out their vignettes. Art teacher Susan Slepetz teaches this course. Limited to 15 students

Words! Words! Words!

Age Group: Students entering  Grades 3-5

Activities: Enjoy a week of fun poetry, word puzzles, stories, riddles, jokes and creative writing along with tournaments with commercial games such as Scrabble, Wordle, and Boggle. Instructor – Teacher Lexie Atkins. Limit of 12 students.

Mixed Media with Matisse

Age Group: Students entering grades K-2

Focus: Students will be introduced to artist Henri Matisse during this 3-day workshop taught by Kindergarten Teacher Susan Zack. Using a variety of media and resources, the students will draw, paint, create a Matisse cutout egg sculpture, a goldfish painting and duplicate a Matisse collage. This class is limited to 12 students who are entering kindergarten, grades 1 and 2.

Kindergarten Boot Camp

Age Group: Students entering Kindergarten

Activities: Designed to prepare children entering Kindergarten in the coming school year. Our goal is to refresh their school time routines and help them transition smoothly back into the classroom. Along with fun activities sprinkled throughout the day, children will benefit from a review of basic literacy and math skills! Kindergarten Teacher Simone McBride will lead the class. Class limited to 14 students.

Flying Into First Grade

Age Group: Students entering 1st Grade

Activities: Calling all first graders! This program is designed to re- acclimate students to classroom routines with a focus on reviewing the kindergarten skills they worked so hard to develop. Concepts in literacy, math and writing will be presented in a fun, hands-on way with some summer fun and surprises along the way! Teacher Lexie Atkins will be the instructor. Limit 14 students.
